Dr Trevor Gin
Visionary – Sight For All Retina Team
Dr Gin is an ophthalmologist in Melbourne, Australia. His medical degree was gained from the University of Melbourne, followed by a Master of Medicine by thesis (diabetic retinopathy).
He completed his ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, followed by a Medical Retinal / Uveitis fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
He is a consultant in the Medical Retinal Clinic at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and has undertaken a number of RANZCO College roles, including Chairman of the Victorian branch of RANZCO Qualification and Education Committee, Chairman of the Selectors for the Victorian RANZCO training program and member of the RANZCO RACE board.
Dr Gin has a passion for international aid work and has volunteered for surgical missions to Kiribati, Nepal, Espiritu Santo, Tanna, Nauru, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Ethiopia.
