Dr Khoi Tran
Visionary – Sight For All Retina Team
Dr Khoi Tran is an vitreoretinal surgeon based on the Gold Coast where he provides expertise in diagnosis, treatment and surgical management of diseases of the vitreous, retina and macula. He has had extensive medical and ophthalmic training throughout Australia.
Additionally, Dr Tran spent 3 years in North America pursuing Medical and Surgical Retina fellowships in complex vitreoretinal disorders at internationally recognised institutions including the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada; and Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr Tran is dedicated to teaching and thoroughly enjoys training the next generation of eye specialists through his public hospital appointment at Gold Coast University Hospital and his volunteer work overseas.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his young family, travelling and exploring different corners of the globe.
