What is workplace giving?
Workplace Giving allows employees, through an arrangement with their employer, to give a small amount of their pre-tax salary to a charity such as Sight For All. These small contributions can add up to a significant level of support.

Help bring sight to children like Morokot
Chanthou was pregnant with twins. Tragically, her delivery came too soon at just 6.5 months. One of her babies did not survive, while the other, Morokot, faced a daunting battle against stage 4 Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). To ensure Morokot’s survival and sight, she urgently needs specialized care from an ophthalmologist.
Two months after giving birth, Chanthou brought Morokot to the Department of Ophthalmology at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital. There, they met Dr. Kheng, a paediatric ophthalmologist trained by Sight For All. Morokot was diagnosed with ROP, a condition affecting immature retinal tissue that can lead to blindness if not treated promptly. Sadly, her right eye was already blind, and her left eye was at stage 4, necessitating immediate intervention.
The first step in Morokot’s treatment was an Avastin injection, followed by retinal surgery. Remarkably, by eight months old, Morokot began to recognize her mother’s voice and turn toward her when she approached. Chanthou beamed with hope, saying, “I felt confident that my daughter can see now, and I must bring her to visit the doctor again.”
During a follow-up visit, Morokot was found to have cataracts. She underwent lens aspiration and then on August 28, 2024, intraocular lens (IOL) surgery. The results were astounding; her vision improved dramatically. Chanthou and Morokot returned home, tears of joy streaming down her face as she embraced the newfound hope for her daughter’s sight. “My children are my life. If I could give her my eyes, I would,” she expressed.
Without the expertise of Dr. Kheng and other specialized ophthalmologists, Morokot might have faced a future of blindness, requiring constant care from her family. But now, she can take care of herself and enjoy her childhood. “I’m so happy that my daughter can see! Now she can run, play with her friends, and even help with small tasks like clearing the table and dishwashing. I plan to register her for school in the upcoming term,” Chanthou said, her heart filled with gratitude.
Morokot is turning to 5 years old, living in Sa Ang of Kandal province. She is just one of many children from rural families in Cambodia who have regained their sight through the dedicated work of Sight For All. However, many others are still waiting for help.
