Neuro-Ophthalmology

Sight For All's Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship undertaken in Vietnam in 2014 was very successful, training three fellows, Drs Nguyen Tuan Anh and Quang Ngoc in this sub-specialty area.

The Neuro-Ophthalmology team of Visionaries, lead by Professor John Crompton has just completed training three fellows, Dr Aye Kyaw Maung from Mandalay Eye Ear Nose and Throat Hospital (MEENTH), Dr Yin New Win from Yangon Eye Hospital and Dr Mon Mon Yi from the University of Medicine 2. These three fellows are now trained in the sub-specialty area of neuro-ophthalmology.

One of the fellows, Dr Yin New Win had this to say about the fellowship:

"I'd like to say thank Sight For All, on behalf of the Myanmar Ophthalmic Society. Gaining new knowledge and experience from this program will enable me to share and give a helping hand to those in need. This fellowship is a life changing opportunity for me and for all the patients that I can now help. Please continue teaching program like this to support young ophthalmologists, as well as our patients."
