Neuro-Ophthalmology

The Neuro-Ophthalmology Visionary Team, led by Prof John Crompton trained three fellows in the sub-specialty area - Dr Aye Kyaw Maung from Mandalay Eye Ear Nose and Throat Hospital (MEENTH), Dr Yin New Win from Yangon Eye Hospital and Dr Mon Mon Yi from the University of Medicine 2.

I'd like to thank Sight For All, on behalf of the Myanmar Ophthalmic Society,” said Dr Yin New Win.

This fellowship is a life-changing opportunity for me and for all the patients that I can now help. Please continue teaching programs like this to support young ophthalmologists, as well as our patients,” she said.

The Myanmar project, funded by the Geok Hua Wong Charitable Trust, follows Sight For All's very successful 2014 Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship in Vietnam which trained three fellows - Drs Quang, Ngoc and Hung in this sub-specialty area.
